Chandler Sims

Pastor Chandler and his wife Savannah have been married since May 2019. They are from Williamson and Senoia, Georgia (don’t worry nobody else knows where it is either). Most of Pastor Chandler and Savannah’s family lives in South Georgia but, they are thankful for a loving church family here at North Rome.

Pastor Chandler and Savannah have been serving in Children’s Ministry for 3 years. Pastor Chandler started at his home church Griffin Center Point Church of God where he served for a little over 2 years, and has been at North Rome since August of 2018. Pastor Chandler is an Ordained Minister in the Church of God and has completed the Ministerial Internship Program through the Church of God. Savannah has also served in Children’s Ministry for over 3 years. She served as the Children’s Ministry Assistant at South Metro Ministries before their marriage.

From Pastor Chandler and Savannah: “We love doing ministry in the Rome/Floyd County area and at North Rome! We take great pride in the opportunity to sow into the next generation here at North Rome. We believe that we can raise up a generation that has a foundation built upon Jesus Christ. We know this is only the beginning and we expect God to continue to do great things in the Children’s Ministry at North Rome.”

Name one thing still on your bucket list. Play a round of golf at Augusta National (Masters tournament location)

What food do you crave, and what food do you detest? I crave Pizza, Chicken, and Mac N Chz. I detest anything that isn’t the 3 I listed. (literally.. I eat like a kid! Fits right?)

Name somewhere in the world you would like to visit. I would like to visit Japan! Always seemed pretty cool! 

If I’m eating a candy bar, it’s probably a… tube of mini M&M’s (yes mini is better)

If I have an evening free, I like to spend it…  Doing nothing at home! Just chilling! 

What is your favorite season of the year? College Football Season. Go Gators!
