Rick Jacobs
Administrative Pastor
Pastor Rick and his wife Tammy were married on June 2, 1990. (WOW, time flies!) They are from Rome, Georgia and Miami, Florida respectively. They love living in the beautiful foothills of Rome and living the farm life with their kids and grandkids. Pastor Rick and Tammy and their children have been a part of the North Rome Church Family since November 1995. They have served in many roles in the Church as Sunday School teachers, Church and Pastors Council, ushers, and greeters. Pastor Rick and Tammy established the North Rome Church of God Outreach Ministry to the North Rome Community in 2007 and continue serve their community now.
Pastor Rick began serving as the Administrative Pastor in August 2020. Pastor Rick is an Ordained Minister in the Church of God and has completed the Ministerial Internship Program through the Church of God. Pastor Rick holds degrees from Georgia State University (Law and Legal studies) and Columbus State University (Masters Degree in Public Administration).
From Pastor Rick and Tammy: “We are thankful for an opportunity to minister in and serve our Church Family as well as our community! We believe we can and will continue to make a positive difference in our community and the families in our community by showing the love of Christ to all. The Apostle Paul reminds us with these words, “So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:46 – 47) As we like to say in our church family; I am North Rome!”
