Mission
The purpose of the Outreach Ministries of North Rome is to reach those who are outside the walls of our church with the message and the love of Jesus Christ. We do this by ministering to all we meet, especially those who are unsaved, un-churched, homeless, incarcerated, etc. We are blessed to be able to serve in the mission field in our community, nationally and internationally with our prayers and through our work in World Missions, benevolence ministry, and various community outreach ministries.
New Beginnings
New Beginnings Outreach provides ministry to our community through monthly outreach. This outreach includes opportunity to receive a hot meal, groceries, toiletries, and clothes, but most importantly the gospel and God’s love. In addition to the ongoing monthly ministry, New Beginnings Outreach provides a Thanksgiving basket for hundreds of families, which includes everything needed for a full Thanksgiving meal.
Special Outreach Program:
Through The Flames
The purpose of this “All Recovery” ministry is to provide teaching sessions to restore the broken, those with addictions to alcohol, drugs, as well as other addictions. Our goal and focus will be to help them find freedom in their path to recovery/restoration through Christ Jesus. The sessions will take place at the NR Outreach Donation Center at 1816 North Broad Street. Todd Smith will be leading this ministry as well as several Co-leaders.
