Welcome to Awakening
Awakening Student Ministries is the Middle and High School Ministry of North Rome. This a vibrant ministry of North Rome, and is a place where students belong. We believe in engaging the youth to grow in their faith in a life-giving culture of love, acceptance, and importance. We want every student that steps foot on our campus to know that no matter what the world says to them, the Awakening will be a place where love reigns. We believe there is a generation of young people that are being awakened to the gospel of Jesus Christ. This Awakening is the heart of our passion of “people coming to life.”
The Awakening is the place to be every Wednesday night. We serve dinner and have pre-service games at 6:30, service at 7, all in the Family Life Center. There are also many other ways to plug into the Awakening. We have student-led worship, summer camps, fall retreats, local service project, student conferences, summer squad wars, Wake Night, and much more.
Where do I start?
The Awakening offers various opportunities each week to grow closer to God. This includes, Sunday school every week at 9am and various small groups that meet throughout the week. These groups are an opportunity to dive into the word of God and be discipled.

Our Ministry Leader
Pastor Tristen and his wife Tara have been at North Rome since September 2023. Here is a quick word from Pastor Tristen, "Our goal here at North Rome is to disciple students into a lifelong relationship with Jesus while making an impact on our community and city!"
