At North Rome, worship is big part of what we do. We come into the presence of God and we worship Him. We praise Him for his bountiful blessings. We give thanks for all that we have received. We extol his greatness and his power in our lives. Every activity we do in our services and in our lives should be acts of worship.

In our church we have several ways to worship as specific activities. We offer worship services which are periods of time that we set aside from our busy schedules to come together and give thanks to God and sing together. Our band praises God with their instruments, which range from drums and percussion to guitars and keyboards. Our orchestra offers many different instruments of praise to God. Trumpets and trombones are strong and bold above everything else, but the clarinet and flute remind the listener that it is yet possible even in the din and roar of life to still hear a simple sweet melody that reminds us of the greatness of God. Our choir is a collection of voices that sing together in worship, offering up praises and thanks to God.

As congregants, we stand and sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that cause the heart to burst out with glory and praise to the Creator of all things. Most of all, we worship as a warm-up. After Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead, he promised to come again. We are all just warming up for the greatest time of worship we will ever know in Heaven. It says in the Bible in Revelations chapter 7 that we will be gathered around the throne of God. We will not have a need or care for this world, and we will serve Him forever.
